The Oak Grove Experience
Shared values, much like a mission statement, are meant to be timeless in their reflection of the organization’s character and culture. When Oak Grove is shining brightest, when we are at our best, the atmosphere and culture that carries us to those heights should be most clearly seen through the
Anti-Bullying Week is Now: April 20th-24th
Anti-Bullying Awareness week is a student-led project that informs and empowers students to reach out and show caring, kindness, and awareness of fellow students. To inspire each other to have the best school experience possible. To accept and celebrate each other's differences. To remind us all that even a small act of kindness can positively affect another student's life.
Students are creating an awareness video that will be shown in a special chapel Monday, April 27 following Anti-Bullying week. Students will also be participating in group dress-up days.
Students and staff are encouraged to dress to the following themes:
4/20: School Colors Monday (Maroon and white)
4/21: Plaid Tuesday (Plaid of any color)
4/22: Oldies Wednesday (Black white and grey)
4/23: Teal Thursday (Green blue/teal)
4/24: Freaky Friday (As many colors as possible)
4/27: Monday Chapel Celebration
The prize for dressing up the most will be an ice cream float during the winning class' lunch period at Grover Grounds!

Errol & Cheri Schoenfish, Oak Grove parents
Our children have been able to explore theatre, basketball, choir and speech all at the same time. This chance to try a variety of activities allows the student the time to discover what they love and who they are. Another reason we chose Oak Grove was that the teachers are able to interact more with the students on a daily basis, which make the experience so much stronger. We feel that Oak Grove has helped to shape our kids faith, values, and has given them a strong grounding in the importance of service to our community and the world around them.
The mission of Oak Grove Lutheran School is to express God’s love by nurturing students for academic achievement, lifelong Christian commitment and loving service throughout the world.

Building a Strong Foundation
Integrating Christian faith instruction into the curriculum of both the Early Learning Center and the Elementary School builds a strong foundation for the students starting at a very young age. Each student is also involved in at least one community service project per year, which nurtures an orientation to service leadership.
