The Oak Grove Experience
Shared values, much like a mission statement, are meant to be timeless in their reflection of the organization’s character and culture. When Oak Grove is shining brightest, when we are at our best, the atmosphere and culture that carries us to those heights should be most clearly seen through the
ANNUAL DINNER Sunday, November 16, 2014
Sunday evening November 16 friends and family of Oak Grove will gather for what’s known as the “Annual Dinner”. This gathering is a celebration that includes recognition of our Legacy Partners and of our Living the Mission Award honorees; John and Marie Leseth (1964) and Nick Hall (2001). We are blessed to have Nick Hall, founder and primary evangelist for PULSE as this year’s keynote speaker. It’s sure to be a very enjoyable evening all around!
Please join us for our fall Buddy Day and experience what Oak Grove can offer you. We invite you to visit for the morning or afternoon. This is your opportunity to shadow one of our students and experience the nurturing environment, meet our caring and talented teachers, and get to know your classmates. We hope you will come spend the day as a Grover! Reservations are required. Give us a call today.

Errol & Cheri Schoenfish, Oak Grove parents
Our children have been able to explore theatre, basketball, choir and speech all at the same time. This chance to try a variety of activities allows the student the time to discover what they love and who they are. Another reason we chose Oak Grove was that the teachers are able to interact more with the students on a daily basis, which make the experience so much stronger. We feel that Oak Grove has helped to shape our kids faith, values, and has given them a strong grounding in the importance of service to our community and the world around them.
The more I grew to know the people at Oak Grove, the more I realized it was bringing out the best in me. I learned a lot about myself and I really came out of my shell. Oak Grove really let me try everything. I've had so many great opportunities to get involved in a lot of different groups like Choir, Key Club, and Chapel Board. Oak Grove also made it possible to be in Track, Baseball, and Basketball. I have found meaning and purpose in sports and I am going to be certified in coaching Basketball and Baseball next year through my experiences at Oak Grove.
The mission of Oak Grove Lutheran School is to express God’s love by nurturing students for academic achievement, lifelong Christian commitment and loving service throughout the world.

Building a Strong Foundation
Integrating Christian faith instruction into the curriculum of both the Early Learning Center and the Elementary School builds a strong foundation for the students starting at a very young age. Each student is also involved in at least one community service project per year, which nurtures an orientation to service leadership.
